Rain Season and No MTB. Meanwhile…

Our rain season has officially began
and I’m stuck in the city most of weekends.
Just wishing to go somewhere outside Tokyo to have more ride but it’s pretty much impossible these days
PLUS
I can’t make plan for any trip for a while since I have to save some freakin money ( and for some other reasons too)
and it frustrated me so bad.

Anyway, I’m trying not to think much about what I’m stressed about
because if I started thiniking alot about it then I know what I’m going to do.
you know, I might try to bite you grrrrr

OK, guess enough bad mood for now.
This hateful humid weather got me depressed too much.
I just wish to go back to Ariz now.

RIGHT NOW!!!

Instead of flying back to Phoenix, I took a day off yesterday and visited Kamakura, home of Samurai.
Actually it’s the best season for hydrangea,
and some shrine in Kamakura have the beautiful hydrangea garden and open for visitors.

We visited Meigetsu-in first- national historic site and the best hydrangea & irises garden.
(-in means temple; meigetsu-in means meigetsu-temple.)

Next visit wasJouju-in.

“Jouju” means something like, acheivement/accomplishment/Fullfillment.

SO people wish to achieve somehing, or wish to meet the best partner or fullfilled love comes to pray here 😉

and the last one was Hasedera“.
its garden was nice and very popular but pretty crowded.
(well, cuz it’s popular!!)
but I think Meigetsu-in Temple was better than this Hasedera.

Ah, don’t forget about the lunch!!
yeeeey!!

Oh btw, me and mybf visited the most famous and popular temple in Kamakura on new year’s day last year
and it was actually our first date 😉

Well, we will definitely come back here again 😉

I love Japanese gardens. In our city gardens, we have a sister city Japanese garden that I enjoy spending many hours in. Sucks that you can’t get out riding, But those gardens are worth the visit.

Beautiful photos. Thanks Super Happy mtbtokyogirl. Oh, and you do look “super happy” with the food. Can I share a link to an older post I wrote about my eldest grandson’s visit to our local Japanese garden in Seattle. http://jeffkatzer.wordpress.com/2011/10/09/creative-inspiration/
