Hot Water Ridge & Mt.Morning in Sep

John picked me up at 6am and we headed to Okutama for Biking yesterday.

He has been taking me to Okutama several times in the past 8months, but this Mt.Morning and the Hot-Water-Ridge was new to me.

I was so excited that I couldn’t sleep the night before.
OK, simply I think I was not in a good condition yesterday like,
1. Not much sleep
2. Diarrhea in the morning
3. Got crick in my neck to the back
Doh!
(I couldn’t even look behind!!)

BUT
I really wanted to ride a bike no matter what 🙂

BUT BUT
John told me that it would be a tough ride
and
YUP it was.
Even if my tummy was ok and the neck was fine, I think this one would have been the hardest one I’ve ever tried!!

Biked up the hill for total about 4hours
and last 2-3hours are in the forestry road which means you actually gotta carry your bike on your shoulder at many points.

OK, DO NOT forget that I’m not a guy. I’m just a girl!!
and
DO NOT forget, that I’m not a athlete. I’m just a ordinary office worker !!!

So, it was FUN but it was haaaaaarrrrd!!

then downhill for about 2hours
and total about 4000kcal burnt.
( So, I think the pancake w/extra butter & syrup that I had for breakfast is totally gone.)

It was such a beautiful waterfall and the place.
We stopped our bike and enjoyed the cool air and the sound from the waterfall

Biked up the slope for an hour or little more.

Took a break a little at the trailhead

Just like a teeth of a saw, you have to go up and down

Of course John jumped off from there but he told me not to.

Practice for not to use the break. oops slipped.

No break.. made it!

After all it was fun as always and I enjoyed a LOT 🙂

By the way all I needed when I finally got back to the car was red can of Coke!!

日曜日はひっさびさのチャリ☆
ってことで、楽しみにしすぎていつもの睡眠不足w
前日はドキドキわくわくしすぎて寝れず、
朝は朝でお腹が下り、
行きの車で背中が攣って首を寝違えたみたいになっちゃって、
結局1日中後ろ振り向けず。(ちなみに2日たった今もまだダメ)

そんな感じでスタートした日曜日は
いつもと反対側の奥多摩、YKB尾根。
初トレイルだったんだけど、
登りで死にました。
いやいや、まじで。
駐車場からの舗装の坂道の時点でだいぶへばりながら1~2時間?
「まだまだこれからだから~」
っていう死神さんの言うとおり、
まだまだで、
トレイルヘッドから林道に入ってさらに2~3時間登った気が・・・。
担いで登っては押して登り~の繰り返しでw
普段は休憩を要求したりしないけど、
さすがに途中で立ち止まって鼻水をかんで水分補給する時間が必要でした。
トレランの人もたくさんいて、
必然的に途中で立ち止まるから、まぁ休憩みたいなもんだったけど、
それでもへばったなぁ~
まぁそんなこと言いながらだんだん元気になったんだけどw
ってことで、
避難小屋でひと休みした後は
さぁさぁ下りの練習です♪
で、
いつもなら乗っていけたであろうところで断念すると、
「もう一回やってみる?」
って感じで
ちゃんと乗って降りれるまで練習w
子どものチャリ練習みたいなw
そんなわけで、私とチャリにいくと無駄に時間がかかるのです。
ぴょんぴょん行ける死神さんには申し訳ないので、
早く上手になって一緒に楽しめるようになりたいんだけど、

むっりー。

ってことで、
いましばらくは根気良く付き合ってもらいましょう♪

9/16のレッスン内容
①ブレーキをかけない
②つま先じゃなくて足の裏全部つけて歩く
今後の課題
①もっと上半身をリラックスする
②スピードを上げる

今回は約4000kcal消費。
自己ベスト(笑)

どおりで下山した途端にコーラが飲みたくてしょうがなかったわけだわ。

さ、お天気が大丈夫だったら今週もどっかに連れてっても~ら~お!
